CLERK

The Clerk is responsible for all the background administration work which ensures that the Parish Council can function properly. This includes the preparation of Agendas and Minutes, arranging Meetings and dealing with correspondence. The Clerk is also the Responsible Financial Officer and prepares the accounts, arranges audits etc.

Any formal contact with the Parish Council, such as correspondence, should be made to the Clerk, rather than to individual Councillors, although members of the public are encouraged to get in touch directly with Councillors on issues where they wish to discuss matters in an informal manner.
